Good news and bad news...

  • The bad news first, like every other website, we try to guess the problems that you might have and supply standard answers.
  • Now the good news - unlike most websites, you'll find both our email address and our 'phone number below, so you can contact us directly if you need to. Please do, we're here to help!

Problems are unusual but they can and do occur sometimes. Hopefully this page will help.

We normally deliver our tutorials as pdf downloads. This method is efficient and economical and suits both us and most of our customers.
But we will also be happy to send your tutorials as pdf email attachments, provided that your inbox is large enough to accommodate them (Most Hotmail and Yahoo email addresses will not accept large file attachments).
Please email us if you prefer your tutorial(s) as email attachments.

When you buy using PayPal or Nochex, the system works like this:

  • We get an email from PayPal or Nochex telling us about your purchase
  • We send you an email with a link to the download page
  • Depending on your internet connection speed, the screen may be blank for some time before the tutorial appears.
  • Once it has appeared on your screen, the download is complete. Save it to your hard drive.
  • Download Adobe Acrobat by clicking here (unless you already have Acrobat v.6 or later)

Very occasionally, things can go wrong. Here are the possible problems and the solutions, in blue italics

You didn't receive an email from us.

  1. We didn't get an email from PayPal or Nochex, so we don't know you've paid
  2. Our email to you got 'lost in the system''
  3. Our email to you ended up in your spam folder. Please check your spam folder.
  4. Your email address isn't working properly, or your mailbox is full
  5. You've checked your spam folder, it's not there. Please send us an email, if possible from another email address

You've received an email but you're getting a 'page not found' error.

  1. This can happen sometimes if the system is busy. Please try again. If the problem continues, Please send us an email
  2. Your computer has an obsolete version of Acrobat which is conflicting with the current version. Please uninstall the old version
  3. Our system is being updated at the time of your download (unlikely but possible). Please try later. If the problem continues, Please send us an email

You've downloaded your tutorial(s) but part of the file is corrupted or incomplete. Please send us an email

You've already paid, but PayPal asks you to pay again

  1. We use a security system to prevent people from stealing our downloads. This sometimes works too well and problems can arise if you have an old version of Javascript on your own computer. Please try again. If the problem continues, Please send us an email
  2. The PayPal site is undergoing maintenance or has a problem. They have regular, scheduled maintainance between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.GMT each Friday. Please try later. If the problem continues, Please send us an email. Do not pay again!

You would like technical support or have a query not covered by your tutorial or video
We give full, unlimited support to all our customers, and there are no time or other limits.
Please send us an email and include the name of your tutorial or video

You saved your tutorials on your hard disk but because of a computer problem you've lost them. We'll replace them, free. Just send us an email using the email address you used to buy them. If you don't have that email address any more you must tell us the email you used when you bought them.

Your video doesn't work
We test all videos before despatch. We recommend that you copy your video on to your computer hard drive (if you have enough spare space) but if your video stops working at some point we'll happily replace it, free of charge. Just return the faulty disk to us with your address and tell us the email address you used when you bought it. There are no time limits.

You have another problem, or we are not responding to your emails
We never ignore emails, and we normaly reply very quickly. Either your emails are not reaching us or our replies are not reaching you.

The easiest way to buy is by using your credit or debit card, through either Nochex or PayPal. Both services are free to buyers and you don't need to have an account with PayPal to use their services
